Webinar: Human Rights Advocacy Tool

adminWebinars

On 9 August 2018, the National Social Security Rights Network (now named Economic Justice Australia), in partnership with Community Legal Centres QLD, hosted a free webinar on development of a new developed Human Rights Advocacy Tool by Bill Mitchell from the Townsville Community Legal Service and Jessica Chapman from Wotton Kearney. The tool uses the United Nations’ human rights standards as a yardstick to assess the human rights implications of proposed domestic laws and policies.
